What is ADD-vance?

Support Group Meetings

Meetings are very informal.  We meet for a cup of tea/coffee and to give mutual support.  We share our experiences so that we can all learn from each other and make things better for our children and our families.

Sit, listen or speak – it’s up to you.  Our specialist coaches, who are also parents of ASD/ADHD children and young adults too, will be on hand to make the sessions go smoothly and are available for you to ask questions privately if you wish.

We have a lending library and you can borrow books for a returnable deposit of £10 (cash or cheque) and leaflets and other information for you to take home.

Come along and meet other parents and carers.

There’s no need to book.  Just turn up!

If you have any questions about meetings or anything else, email us on or call the helpline on 01727 833 963.

FREE Coaching Consultations

ADD-vance is offering FREE 1-to-1 consultations with our team of specialists, for parents of children who have Autism, Asperger's Syndrome or ADHD in Hertfordshire.

Bookings are being taken by e-mail only.  If you would like the chance to attend one of these sessions please complete this booking form and e-mail it to

Please note that as these sessions are always heavily oversubscribed we are only able to offer them to parents/carers who have not attended one before.  We would also appreciate it if you only apply if you are confident that you are going to be able to attend the session allocated to you, as it is very difficult to fill spaces if last minute cancellations are made.  Please also be aware that these sessions are only 30 minutes so in-depth or follow-on consultations will not be possible.
